Air Air Peace flights Grounded Nationwide as NLC Protest Shuts Down Operations

Air Peace flight operations came to a halt across the country following a protest by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC). The industrial action forced the closure of the airline’s terminals at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos and other airports nationwide.

A flight that was scheduled to depart at 6:30 a.m. could not take off, leaving passengers stranded at the terminals. The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has confirmed the incident. Mr. Michael Achimugu, the spokesperson for NCAA, said further details would be made available at a later time.

Passengers have reported significant delays, with one traveler expressing worry about missing a 9:00 a.m. appointment in Abuja. As of now, Air Peace manbagement has not issued any official comment on the matter.
