Tinubu Commissions New Customs FOU ‘A’ Office in Ogun

President Bola Tinubu has commissioned the newly completed office of the Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone A, of the Nigeria Customs Service in Iperu, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Tinubu arrived at the venue at about 3:08 p.m., shortly after inaugurating the state’s cargo airport. He commended the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, for conceiving and delivering a befitting facility for the unit.

The new complex includes office buildings, residential quarters, and a training college. It is meant to improve operational efficiency and strengthen capacity development within the service.

“I hereby declare this building open, to the glory of God,” Tinubu said during the commissioning.

Senior officers of FOU Zone A welcomed the development, describing it as a major boost to morale. The report also says this is the first time the unit will operate from its own purpose-built office.
