On August 11, 2026, the Port & Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service held a Leadership Seminar for its senior officers. The event focused on strengthening leadership skills, professionalism, and teamwork among staff.
The seminar was set up by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, with the goal of building a motivated and efficient workforce. Speaking at the event, DC Nura Ibrahim Miko, the Acting Area Controller, highlighted the importance of effective leadership in achieving the Service’s goals, which include revenue generation and trade facilitation.
The program covered topics such as strategic leadership and ethical conduct. Officers were encouraged to apply what they learned to improve how the Command serves the public.
